St Mawes Triathlon

Nearwater St Mawes Triathlon 23rd September 2012

The race will be centred in the village - this will create the following benefits:

1)  Great atmosphere, spectators will be very well catered for on the Quay in the middle of the village.
2)  The swim will start on Summers beach and finish in the harbour - this is well protected area of water and the exit will be very close to the transition.
3)  The road through the middle of the village will be closed to traffic and the transition will be on the roadside.
4)  The registration and prizegiving will be on the quay, right next to the transition.

The sprint tri will start 20 mins before the standard distance triathlon.

Swim / Cycle (2 laps) / Run (2 laps of the village)

The sprint course swim will be similar but just one lap, the cycle route as the last two years and the run just one lap of the village.

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories for men and women:

Open / V40 / V50 / V60 / Team Relay
